About the role

Responsibilities

  • Package, label, code, and date containers while adding ingredients to products
  • Clean, sanitize, and prep work areas to maintain a food-safe environment
  • Assemble boxes, package finished products, and print proper identification labels
  • Set up ink jets and heat sealers to ensure products are properly contained and sealed
  • Take product samples on a scheduled basis for identification and quality control
  • Maintain inventory of ingredients and location records for finished products
  • Lift up to 50lbs regularly and may operate forklifts to move materials
  • Use various tools such as brooms, shovels, and hoses to maintain cleanliness

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to read and understand tables, formulas, and whole numbers
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds overhead and perform physical tasks like walking, climbing, and bending
  • Strong fundamental skills in math, reading, writing, and verbal communication
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Ability to work in non-air-conditioned environments with exposure to extreme heat, cold, and dust

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in a military environment
