Analog Mixed Signal/Power Management Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee the definition, design, verification, and documentation of CMOS mixed analog/digital blocks, including data converters, PLLs, analog/digital filters, and voltage regulators.
• Determine architecture design and circuit specifications based on system-level requirements.
• Manage the full design lifecycle from system definition and simulation to circuit design and silicon evaluation.
• Work closely with layout teams to oversee block-level layout for multiple blocks.
• Define verification plans and execute complex simulations to achieve power, performance, and functionality targets.
• Design and run complex tests, reviewing bench/ATE data to identify and analyze bugs.
• Provide technical expertise for new initiatives, such as analog design automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in analog or mixed-signal IC design (specifically in BCD and nanometer planar CMOS or FinFET) and 4+ years of related mixed-signal verification experience.
• OR a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• OR a PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field with experience in mixed-signal IC design and verification.
• 3+ years of experience using industry-standard design tools such as Cadence, SPICE, MATLAB, and/or Verilog/VHDL.

Preferred Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Specialized experience in specific areas such as VCO, PLL, DLL design, Audio CODEC, Class D Audio amplifiers, or high-power Buck/Boost switching regulators.
• Professional experience interacting with senior leadership (Director level and above).
