Analog Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, including high-speed re-drivers, switches for USB applications, clocking circuits (PLL, frequency multipliers), and precision analog components
• Translate chip-level requirements such as data rate, BER, and jitter budget into detailed block-level architectures and specifications
• Perform hands-on circuit design, simulations, and documentation from initial concept through silicon validation
• Develop behavioral models using Verilog-A/AMS and perform system-level modeling in MATLAB/Simulink for noise and transfer functions
• Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure optimal device placement, matching, EM/IR compliance, and shielding
• Lead design reviews and present technical solutions to internal teams and external customers

Requirements

• MS in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years of IC development experience, or a PhD with 1–2 years of experience
• Strong expertise in high-speed analog circuit design, including signal integrity, jitter analysis, and frequency compensation
• Proven experience with high-speed interfaces such as SerDes, USB, or Ethernet
• Proficiency with Cadence IC design tools (Virtuoso, Spectre) and modeling tools like MATLAB/Simulink
• Solid understanding of device physics and parasitic effects impacting high-speed performance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
