Analog Circuit Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical path-finding, micro-architecture, and design of analog/mixed-signal circuits including regulators, bandgaps, and ADCs in advanced process nodes.
• Develop circuit building block schematics and perform pre-layout and post-layout design optimization to meet specifications across PVT, process variation, and reliability checks.
• Collaborate with custom layout teams to define floorplanning, routing, and matching requirements.
• Generate essential design collateral including integration specs, timing models, power models, and IBIS files.
• Own design verification plans covering functionality, performance, and reliability for high-volume productization.
• Partner with logic designers, physical design engineers, and signal integrity teams to ensure efficient IP integration.
• Conduct post-silicon data analysis and debug to drive necessary design enhancements.
• Participate in design reviews and represent the team in cross-functional meetings.

Requirements

• BSEE, MSEE, or PhD in Electrical Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in analog/mixed-signal, high-speed, or high-voltage IO design.
• Direct design experience with amplifiers, comparators, regulators, ADCs, and high-speed transmitters/receivers (SerDes, PAM-4, PCIe, DDR, etc.).
• Proficiency with circuit design tools such as Virtuoso, Spice, StarRC, and Totem.
• Solid understanding of analog design trade-offs, process variation, and reliability in modern CMOS technologies.
• Working knowledge of Verilog, static timing analysis, and UPF.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically with high-speed receivers.
