About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform KYC and AML analysis for corporate clients to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct investigations into complex corporate structures and identify ultimate beneficial owners.
  • Analyze transactional monitoring alerts to identify atypical behaviors, financial incompatibilities, and potential money laundering or terrorist financing.
  • Prepare technical reports and formal opinions supported by documentary evidence.
  • Research public sources, internal databases, and specialized tools to support investigations.
  • Collaborate with business, compliance, and risk departments to obtain necessary information.
  • Analyze cases related to national and international economic sanctions (OFAC, UN, EU, etc.).

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Crime Compliance.
  • Proven experience in Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
  • Expertise in analyzing complex corporate structures.
  • Strong knowledge of AML/FTP regulations and sanctions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Advanced English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant certifications related to AML/CFT.
  • Experience working in financial institutions, fintechs, or payment providers.
  • Experience using or developing AI-based tools for compliance, investigation, or process automation.
