Responsibilities

• Administer the registration and maintenance of fixed and variable income issuers within internal banking systems.
• Manage and communicate information regarding corporate actions and rights exercises to ensure business continuity.
• Execute and monitor liquidations and registrations for corporate events, including coupons, amortizations, dividends, splits, and exchanges.
• Perform operational maintenance for Money Market issuers to ensure correct settlement.
• Support the review and analysis of brokerage, banking, and investment fund statements.
• Participate in monthly closing processes, default validation, and stock indicator capture.
• Analyze data from various sources such as INDEVAL, Bloomberg, BMV, and BIVA.
• Manage tax benefit forms (W8 Bent) before INDEVAL.
• Execute the settlement of securities liabilities with national and international custodians.
• Support the Treasury Front Office with international payment liquidations and confirmations via SPEI and SWIFT.
• Develop and implement VBA macros to semi-automate processes and reduce operational risk.
• Propose and implement improvements to established processes and controls.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Financial Engineering, Mathematics, or Actuarial Science.
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in Operations, Back Office (Money Market/Capital Markets), Banking, or the Securities sector.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including mandatory development of macros using Visual Basic (VBA).
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• AMIB Figura III Certification.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Experience with stock market products including Money Market, Debt, Equities, and Derivatives.
