Anaesthetics Intensive Care ICU Specialty Registrar

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality anaesthetic and critical care to patients in the ICU and operating theatres
• Assess, stabilise, and manage critically ill patients requiring advanced airway management, ventilation, and cardiovascular support
• Provide anaesthesia for elective and emergency procedures
• Conduct daily ICU ward rounds and contribute to perioperative care and pain management
• Supervise junior staff and participate in audits and quality improvement
• Support the development of clinical protocols and education within the department

Requirements

• GMC Registered
• Full FRCA
• 6+ months NHS SpR experience
• ALS certification
