AMS Business Analyst

Responsibilities

• Bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions by collaborating with project managers, SMEs, and IT teams
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization through IT solutions
• Define functional business requirements, perform analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation support
• Provide technical support and advice to client representatives regarding system use and university policies
• Coordinate with clients and development staff during the testing and implementation of system changes
• Perform error analysis and recommend fixes to clients to ensure system stability
• Manage large data sets for migration and system conversion projects

Requirements

• University degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field
• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors modules, including data models and workflows
• Demonstrated experience in business process analysis and project management
• Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong ability to manipulate, transform, and analyze large data sets
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical information for non-technical users
• Ability to handle highly confidential and sensitive data with extreme discretion

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a University or higher education environment
• Familiarity with University of Toronto policies regarding Payroll and recruitment
• Exposure to Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies
