AML Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a multi-region AML team, ensuring clear direction and high-quality output
• Set and maintain SLAs across KYC verification, EDD, transaction monitoring, and case escalations
• Oversee end-to-end KYC and CDD processes across all markets to ensure regulatory compliance
• Maintain oversight of the Sumsub platform configuration, including workflows and automated rules
• Oversee the transaction monitoring programme and refine rules to reduce false positives
• Serve as the primary operational point of escalation for complex AML cases to market MLROs
• Liaise with Compliance and operational stakeholders to prioritize AML technology requirements

Requirements

• 5+ years of AML operational experience in iGaming, fintech, payments, or banking
• Proven experience managing multi-person, multi-region AML teams
• Deep knowledge of KYC, CDD, EDD, transaction monitoring, PEP screening, and SAR processes
• Experience managing AML technology platforms (Sumsub experience highly desirable)
• Understanding of multi-jurisdictional AML obligations and regulatory frameworks
• Strong documentation, governance, and SOP creation skills
• Effective stakeholder management capabilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience with Sumsub workflow configuration and TM rule tuning
• iGaming industry background with knowledge of gambling-specific ML typologies
• Experience supporting AML programmes in LATAM or European markets
• Familiarity with regulatory reporting tools like GoAML or SEGOB
• Fluency in Spanish
