AML Manager (Crypto)

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and enhancement of AML/CFT frameworks to protect the business from financial crime.
• Monitor AML/CFT regulatory developments and proactively address compliance gaps.
• Collaborate with business and compliance teams to evaluate the effectiveness of policies, procedures, and controls.
• Lead bi-annual reviews and updates of company policies to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Configure and optimize automated systems and leverage AI-powered tools for transaction monitoring and threat detection.
• Oversee client behavior monitoring systems to detect and report suspicious activities.
• Contribute to AML Business Risk Assessments (BRA) and Jurisdiction Risk Assessments (JRA).
• Provide expert AML/CFT guidance to business units and deliver training to employees.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in anti-money laundering or regulatory compliance.
• University degree in Law, Risk Management, Criminology, Finance, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge of fraud processes, AML/CFT regulations, and red flags.
• Experience with compliance-related systems, databases, and technological solutions.
• Proficiency in Excel and big data analysis with strong quantitative analytical capabilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience working within a fintech organization is a plus.
