AML Analyst, Officer

Responsibilities

• Perform AML/KYC risk assessments for new legal entities and conduct onboarding reviews to ensure documentation accuracy.
• Execute periodic and event-driven KYC reviews and identify high-risk clients for appropriate escalation.
• Monitor business activity to identify unusual patterns and review entity structures and beneficial ownership.
• Manage AML/KYC workflows, intake queues, and maintain trackers to ensure timely task completion.
• Prepare management information (MI), dashboards, and reconciliations while conducting data quality checks.
• Utilize approved AI tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance productivity and streamline routine analysis.
• Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal controls by maintaining strict audit trails and documentation standards.

Requirements

• 4 to 7 years of experience in AML, KYC, financial crime operations, or compliance support.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Strong Excel skills and experience in MI preparation.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow documented procedures.
• Clear written communication skills and disciplined evidence management.
• Proficiency in using approved AI tools to support day-to-day work activities.

Preferred Qualifications

• AML certification, such as ACAMS.
