About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Automated Material Handling System (AMHS) equipment, including OHT vehicles, UTS systems, conveyors, and sorting systems
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues to ensure minimal downtime
- Monitor system performance and respond promptly to alarms to maintain operational efficiency
- Support installation, commissioning, qualification, and upgrade activities for AMHS and sorter equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, spare parts inventory, and technical documentation
Requirements
- Completed Ausbildung, diploma, or degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in automation maintenance within manufacturing or semiconductor environments
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights of up to 4 meters
- Understanding of semiconductor cleanroom protocols and EHS standards
- Proficiency in English; German proficiency is a strong plus
- Familiarity with AMHS control systems (MCS, MES), HMI, and electrical troubleshooting tools
