About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive short, medium, and long-term training strategies for the Americas commercial organization.
- Design, develop, and deliver training programs covering product knowledge, selling skills, business acumen, and soft skills.
- Collaborate with sales, service, marketing, and business leaders to ensure training meets evolving organizational needs.
- Continuously update the Americas training curriculum to include new and pipeline products.
- Assess training effectiveness through KPIs, surveys, and sales performance metrics, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Lead cross-functional teams in executing training programs in both classroom and field-based settings.
- Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with representatives and frontline managers to reinforce learning.
- Manage training administration, including compliance, LMS systems, and instructional design material development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 5+ years of commercial experience, preferably within the Diagnostics or Medical Device industry.
- 3+ years of successful sales training experience.
- Proficiency in the development and delivery of customer-focused training.
- Ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or Learning and Development certification.
- Outstanding facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, French, or Portuguese.
- Previous sales or territory leadership experience in a similar industry.
- Experience with instructional design tools such as Adobe InDesign, Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, or Vyond.
