Americas Sustainability Lead

Responsibilities

• Shape sustainability strategy for the agency and clients across the Americas
• Lead the rollout, implementation, and administration of the ISO 20121 Management System
• Establish and monitor measurable goals and KPIs aligned with UN SDGs and ESG frameworks
• Partner with Practice and Account leads to integrate sustainability into account plans and business processes
• Collaborate with fabrication and suppliers to promote sustainable materials and equipment
• Support global sustainability reporting and assessments via platforms like EcoVadis and CDP
• Develop internal policies to ensure compliance with environmental laws and certifications
• Support RFP/RFI requests to ensure sustainability is accurately represented

Requirements

• Substantial experience in sustainability roles within event management or marketing
• Mandatory expertise in ISO 20121 standards
• Proven track record of implementing sustainability initiatives in the events industry
• Experience leading or managing cross-functional teams
• Strong analytical skills for assessing environmental and social impacts
• Ability to manage projects in complex, cross-functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ISO 14001, 45001, or ISO 9001
• Understanding of material lifecycle management, Design for Disassembly, and modular construction
