American Sign Language Instructor

Responsibilities

• Teach American Sign Language (ASL) to a diverse group of students, including both adults and young learners
• Promote Deaf culture and awareness through engaging instructional methods
• Conduct in-person classes at our institute located on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi
• Maintain an energetic and enthusiastic classroom environment

Requirements

• Qualified and experienced in teaching American Sign Language
• Holder of a relevant teaching degree or certification
• Proven experience teaching both adults and young learners
• Strong visual communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to conduct in-person classes in Abu Dhabi
• Flexible availability, with a preference for morning sessions
• High level of patience, cultural sensitivity, and diplomacy
