Ambulatory Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric nursing care, including performing treatments and administering medications
• Assist with medical procedures performed without anesthesia using aseptic technique
• Provide patient and family education to improve health outcomes and involve families in healthcare decision-making
• Delegate and evaluate healthcare tasks to assistive personnel according to nursing plans
• Advocate for individual patient needs and provide respectful, considerate care
• Assist with employee education and orientation within the department

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nursing (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Commitment to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
