Ambulatory Nurse

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical treatments and administer medications to pediatric patients
• Assist with medical procedures performed without anesthesia using aseptic techniques
• Provide comprehensive patient and family education to improve health outcomes
• Involve families and significant others in healthcare planning and decision-making
• Delegate and evaluate healthcare tasks assigned to assistive personnel
• Advocate for individual patient needs and respect their right to medical decision-making
• Support employee education and orientation within the department

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Current Registered Nursing (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Commitment to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
