Ambulance & Events Volunteer

Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to patients through their medical journey
• Respond to 111 emergency calls
• Support community events including sports, local fairs, or concerts
• Complete NZQA recognised training and ongoing education

Requirements

• 18 years of age or over
• New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency status
• Full and clean NZ driver's licence held for at least 12 months or approved NZTA advanced driving course
• Ability to pass physical, health, literacy, and numeracy assessments
• Clean police record
• Availability for regular duty (approx. two 12-hour shifts and one training session per month)

Preferred Qualifications

• First Aid certificate level 2
