Ambulance Driver

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of emergency services and transportation
• Maintain ambulance equipment and readiness for use
• Check vehicle condition including fuel, tires, lights, and siren
• Perform cleaning and maintenance of ambulances and medical equipment
• Ensure routine vehicle maintenance is scheduled and completed
• Conduct daily inventory checks of medical equipment and create reports
• Maintain availability via personal communication equipment for emergency calls
• Assist in moving patients between treatment rooms and the ambulance
• Clean and prepare the ambulance after each patient use
• Collect operational data and prepare reports for superiors
• Implement quality and safety procedures and attend required training

Requirements

• Minimum Highschool or Vocational High School Graduate
• Basic understanding of medical procedures and patient care
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly during emergencies
• High attention to detail regarding documentation and equipment readiness
