Ambassador Program

Responsibilities

• Promote Flexcompute tools and Tidy3D within your academic network
• Provide product feedback based on user experience to the Flexcompute team
• Help peers get started with Tidy3D and guide them through best practices
• Answer technical questions regarding FDTD setup, meshing, and Python workflows
• Create or improve technical resources, such as tutorials, FAQs, or notebook-based examples
• Host office hours, demos, or workshops for students and research groups
• Escalate complex technical issues with clear context and reproducible examples

Requirements

• Current Master's or PhD student in EE, photonics, optics, physics, or a related technical field
• Hands-on experience with Tidy3D or other EM simulation tools (e.g., Lumerical, HFSS, COMSOL)
• Proficiency in Python
• Familiarity with GitHub, technical writing, or documentation
• Strong written communication skills and ability to work self-directedly
• Active involvement in relevant academic communities, labs, or student organizations
