About the role

Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop complex business opportunities within Alternatives Funds Distribution to drive growth in the UK and Nordic markets.
  • Lead end-to-end sales opportunities, managing the client pipeline with full autonomy and accountability.
  • Target fund managers (GPs) and distributors, including wealth managers, private banks, platforms, and custodians.
  • Manage long and complex B2B sales cycles, engaging stakeholders across commercial, operational, and technical functions.
  • Build and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with key industry stakeholders in the alternative investments ecosystem.
  • Collaborate with internal product, operations, and technology teams to deliver integrated client solutions.
  • Represent Euroclear at specialized alternative investment forums and market discussions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or client-facing roles within financial services, specifically focused on alternative investments.
  • Demonstrated ability to sell complex B2B infrastructure or asset servicing solutions with long decision cycles.
  • Deep knowledge of the alternative fund ecosystem, including GPs, wealth management, private banking, and investment platforms.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools to manage pipelines, forecasting, and client interactions.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior executives and technical teams.
  • Based in London with the ability and willingness to travel within the UK and Nordic regions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Established professional network within UK and Nordic fund managers or wealth managers active in the alternatives space.
  • Experience with international or cross-border fund distribution structures.
  • Interest in market innovation, digital assets, and the future of alternative funds distribution.
