Alternative Payments Collector

Responsibilities

• Collect unpaid consumer debt through manual dialing in a call center environment
• Negotiate payment arrangements and resolve complex, higher-balance accounts
• Communicate account details, balances, and repayment options clearly and professionally
• Document calls, payment confirmations, and account activity accurately
• Meet daily outreach, resolution, and collection targets while staying compliant with regulations

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2-3+ years of collections or call center experience
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills
• Ability to handle challenging conversations with professionalism
• Ability to work on-site for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CUBS or similar collections systems
• Knowledge of FDCPA and other collections regulations
• Background in bank, credit card, mortgage, medical, or commercial collections
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to negotiate repayment plans
