Alternative Ops Transfer Agency, Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of the Transfer Agency team, managing daily priorities, resource planning, and recruitment.
• Manage team performance, career development, and adherence to all associated HR policies.
• Build and maintain client relationships through regular meetings and serve as the primary point of contact for escalations.
• Perform final sign-off on internal, client, and investor reporting to ensure accurate fund activity recording.
• Take full ownership of daily, cash, and trade reconciliations.
• Identify gaps in internal key controls and work with management to implement solutions and promote a risk-aware culture.
• Participate in department-wide training efforts, including drafting and delivering courses for Senior Associates.

Requirements

• 4+ years of Fund Administration experience.
• 2+ years of people management experience.
• 2+ years of knowledge regarding AML and industry regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Hedge Funds or Transfer Agency operations.
• Knowledge of Private Equity (P/E) funds.
• Familiarity with ISS (AIS’s Enterprise-wide Investor Services System).
