Alternative Ops Reconciliation Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliation between funds and brokers
• Manage hedge fund reconciliation activities including cost, position, and gain/loss realization
• Reconcile dividends and market valuations during month-end processes to support GNAV calculation
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure compliance with specified SLAs
• Create process flows and SOPs to build a repository for future training
• Utilize Excel for MIS reporting and troubleshoot process issues as a Subject Matter Expert
• Drive process excellence initiatives and manage client expectations proactively
• Lead and manage a team in day-to-day production and adhere to strict quality timelines

Requirements

• 4-9 years of experience in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Capital Markets, or Fund Accounting
• Proven expertise in both Cash and Position reconciliation and resolution
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, trade flows, and derivative products
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for MIS reporting and Word for documentation
• Ability to work in various shifts to meet business needs
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with global heads and business units

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or an MBA in Finance
• Experience using Bloomberg Terminal for corporate actions and security pricing
• Knowledge of Geneva application, portfolio accounting, or general ledger systems
• Exposure to trading instruments such as Equities, Options, Bonds, Futures, and CDS
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• NISM, NSE, or CISI certifications
