Alternative Ops Reconciliation - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliation between funds and brokers
• Manage hedge fund reconciliation activities including cost, position, and gain/loss realization
• Reconcile dividends and market valuations during month-end processes to support GNAV calculation
• Review and validate deliverables to ensure compliance with specified SLAs
• Create process flows and SOPs to build a repository for training and operational continuity
• Drive process excellence initiatives and troubleshoot complex process issues
• Manage client expectations through a proactive, customer-service-oriented approach
• Lead and manage a team in day-to-day production and adherence to strict quality timelines

Requirements

• 4-9 years of experience in Investment Banking, Hedge Funds, Capital Markets, or Fund Accounting
• Strong knowledge of capital markets, trade flows, and derivative products
• Proficiency in Excel for MIS reporting and creating documentation
• Experience using Bloomberg Terminal for corporate actions and security pricing
• Proven ability to research and resolve reconciliation breaks (trade, corporate action, etc.)
• Experience with trading instruments such as Equities, Options, Bonds, Futures, and Swaps
• Ability to work in shifts and adhere to tight deadlines
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Accounting or an MBA in Finance

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Geneva application
• Lean or Six Sigma certification
• Understanding of Robotics, BPM, and Risk excellence measures
• NISM, NSE, or CISI certifications
