Alternative Ops Fund Accounting - Senior Associate

Responsibilities

• Supervise custody processes and trade settlement operations in accordance with internal controls and procedures
• Book trades accurately and in a timely manner, communicating fail trade information and reconciling outstanding items
• Research and resolve exceptions and inquiries related to trade processing and settlement
• Manage day-to-day volumes and deliver tasks according to established SLAs
• Handle client queries related to trade processing and settlement in a professional, client-facing capacity
• Coordinate with onshore teams for training and ensure seamless processing of custody-related tasks
• Maintain accurate records in support of audits and provide management reporting and issue log maintenance
• Oversee adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and ensure the flow of critical information to relevant parties

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in core Custody operations, preferably in trade settlement or trade processing
• Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Accounting, Finance, or relevant work experience
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end Trade Life Cycle and intermediaries involved
• Knowledge of SWIFT messages, including different message types and tags
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to work night shifts to provide support during US market hours
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
