Alternative Operations Reconciliations Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations between funds and brokers
• Manage hedge fund reconciliation activities for cash, cost, and positions
• Execute dividend and market valuation reconciliations during month-end processes to support GNAV calculations
• Handle market value reconciliation and expense accounting, including management, admin, and incentive fees
• Manage dividend and bond coupon accrual reconciliations
• Confirm trial balance ledgers tie-up with various sub-ledgers

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or an MBA in Finance
• Hands-on experience using Bloomberg Terminal for corporate actions and security pricing
• Strong domain expertise in reconciliation processes, specifically market value, transaction, and cost reconciliation
• Exposure to portfolio accounting and general ledger systems
• Knowledge of various trading instruments including Equities, Options, Bonds, Futures, Spots, Forwards, and Derivatives (CDS, CFD Swaps)
• Ability to work in shifts and adhere to strict, tight timelines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
