Alpha Implementation Functional Test Lead, Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end functional test execution for specific business functions within Alpha implementations
• Own function-level test strategy, detailed planning, scheduling, and day-to-day execution management
• Lead defect management, triage, and resolution tracking, ensuring all defects are risk-assessed and severity-aligned
• Provide project management discipline for the functional testing workstream, including dependency tracking and milestone alignment
• Coordinate with business, technology, and integration teams to ensure functional scope and data readiness
• Partner with Automation and System Performance teams to drive test coverage and execution alignment
• Manage and guide functional test analysts and testers, including both FTEs and vendors
• Produce clear, concise test status reporting and risk identification for implementation leadership

Requirements

• 10–15 years of overall professional experience
• 4–8 years of experience leading testing workstreams or functional teams
• Proven experience in functional testing within financial services or technology transformation programs
• Expertise in end-to-end test execution and defect management/triage
• Experience working within Agile or hybrid delivery models (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)
• Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Finance, Management, or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of front, middle, and back-office workflows and data flows
