Alpha Data Operations - Assistant Vice President

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategic growth of the Alpha Data Operations team, positioning the operational model for scale and efficiency.
• Oversee end-to-end client onboarding for the Alpha program pipeline, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
• Manage the Production/CUAT environment to reflect daily activity and drive data model standards across India and the global client base.
• Lead and execute migration projects from other global locations to APAC, including risk assessments and contingency planning.
• Oversee daily BAU operations to ensure successful client delivery within SLAs and manage client escalations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Product, Technology, Implementation) and external Alpha clients.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while ensuring robust control frameworks and audit readiness.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.

Requirements

• 15+ years of professional experience in financial services or global consulting.
• 8-10 years of experience in a global management role within the financial services industry.
• Deep domain knowledge in Equities, Bonds, ETD, OTC Derivatives, Bank Loans, and TBAs.
• Proven experience in Middle Office or Back Office business processing.
• Strong technical proficiency with SQL and hands-on experience with database and data warehouse skills.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex workflows to clients.
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent client implementations and prioritize work effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working closely with Product and Technology teams to provide requirements for automation initiatives.
• Broad understanding of the systems and technology necessary to support front-to-back operations.
