Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and manage allergic and immunologic conditions including food, drug, and environmental allergies
- Perform and interpret diagnostic testing such as skin prick, intradermal, and patch testing
- Initiate and manage allergen immunotherapy (subcutaneous and/or sublingual)
- Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing patient management
- Educate patients on allergen avoidance and emergency management
- Collaborate with family physicians and other specialists to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EMR systems
Requirements
- Medical degree with licensure in Ontario or eligibility through CPSO
- Fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology (Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada)
- Strong clinical expertise in outpatient allergy practice
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with immunotherapy programs
