Responsibilities

• Lead the development of an embedded computer vision and control system
• Collaborate with ML, control systems, and hardware teams to deliver robust full-stack solutions
• Define and drive scalable software architecture for new product features and platform capabilities
• Lead troubleshooting, testing, optimisation, and technical decision-making during field testing
• Mentor and guide junior engineers through technical coaching and code reviews

Requirements

• 8+ years of commercial software engineering
• 2+ years of experience at a Technical Lead level
• Strong experience in image processing, robotics, or control systems
• Understanding of embedded vision systems and state estimation techniques
• Hands-on experience with Rust or strong C++ experience
• Experience with embedded and Linux environments
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to rapidly prototype concepts and take them through to production
• Experience influencing technical direction and engineering standards
