Algorithmic Trader

Responsibilities

• Design, troubleshoot, and optimize trading strategies and supporting pricing, risk management, and order execution modules
• Iteratively improve trading models and parameters through research and data-focused analysis
• Investigate new opportunities and avenues for firm market share growth or product expansion

Requirements

• At least one year professional experience in algorithmic trading, ideally equity or futures options
• Track record of solving challenging analytical problems and implementing robust solutions
• Firm understanding of statistics, probability, linear algebra, and calculus
• Proficiency with Python and/or R for research, data analysis, and statistical modeling
• Experience working with large datasets using relational databases, ideally SQL/MySQL
• Exposure to Linux/Unix beneficial
