Algorithm Software Developer for Radar Signal Processing

Responsibilities

• Develop software for Radar Sensors and central control units to support highly automated driving (Level L2 or higher).
• Design, implement, and verify innovative classical algorithms and AI-based methods for modeling, classification, and assessment of the vehicle environment.
• Develop and evaluate software modules for the detection and interpretation of static and dynamic vehicle environments.
• Test software modules in laboratory settings and under real driving conditions in vehicles.
• Support system and software specification processes.
• Develop simulation software to test algorithms in real-time.
• Discuss and report technical results internally and to customers.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical/scientific field (MSc or PhD is welcome).
• Professional experience in radar-based environment perception, including vehicle modeling, control, and Kalman filtering.
• Experience in statistical signal processing, specifically in machine learning, deep learning, and AI-based methods.
• Extensive programming skills in C/C++.
• Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to work effectively within an international team.
