About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly operations including mounting, adjusting, and installing aircraft modules and sub-assemblies based on technical documentation.
- Read and interpret manufacturing and installation plans to plan, trace, cut, shape, and assemble metal parts.
- Execute mounting, adjustment, repair, and installation of mechanical, electromechanical, and hydraulic components.
- Install structural elements, coverings, flight controls, and hydraulic systems on aircraft.
- Use manual or automated tools and machines to perform complex adjustments and settings.
- Verify aircraft assemblies using measurement and verification instruments to ensure compliance with technical specifications and manufacturing files.
Requirements
- DEP in Structure Assembly or System Installation, OR a minimum of 5 years of experience as an Aircraft Assembler in the aerospace industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in technical aeronautical language and the ability to read technical plans.
- Strong knowledge of FOD (Foreign Object Debris) management.
- Excellent manual dexterity, precision, and attention to detail for high-precision component assembly.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams including technicians and engineers.
- Strong analytical skills to identify defects or technical issues quickly.
