AI/Technology Evangelist - Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption and responsible use of AI across Axon by designing training programs, workshops, and enablement materials.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases across business units (Finance, Sales, Engineering, etc.) and champion them from concept to adoption.
• Serve as the primary internal voice for Axon's Corporate AI platform, communicating roadmaps, new capabilities, and success stories.
• Build and maintain an internal AI playbook, including prompt engineering guides, best practices, and reference materials.
• Partner with Security, Legal, and Governance teams to ensure AI adoption aligns with ethical commitments and compliance requirements.
• Create compelling content such as blog posts, newsletters, demo videos, and presentations to keep AI visible and accessible.
• Build and maintain an internal AI champions program to cultivate power users across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• 8+ years of experience in technology roles.
• 3+ years of experience focused on AI/ML, developer relations, technical evangelism, or technical enablement.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and platforms, including LLMs, coding assistants, and cloud AI services.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences through writing and presentations.
• Strong understanding of software development practices, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise technology stacks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developer advocacy or technical training at a technology company.
• Hands-on work with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and compliance (CJIS, FedRAMP, SOC 2).
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems like Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365, or Snowflake.
• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows.
• Public speaking experience at conferences or industry events.
