AI/Technology Evangelist - Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption and responsible use of AI across Axon by designing training programs, workshops, and enablement materials.
• Act as the primary internal voice for the Corporate AI platform, communicating roadmap updates and success stories.
• Identify high-impact AI use cases across business units (Finance, Sales, HR, etc.) and champion them from concept to adoption.
• Build and maintain an internal AI playbook, including prompt engineering guides, best practices, and documentation.
• Partner with Security, Legal, and Governance teams to ensure AI adoption aligns with ethical commitments and compliance requirements.
• Develop lightweight prototypes and demos to showcase AI capabilities to various stakeholders.
• Run internal AI champions programs to cultivate power users across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Communications, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in technology roles.
• 3+ years of experience in AI/ML, developer relations, technical evangelism, or technical enablement.
• Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and platforms, including LLMs and cloud AI services.
• Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of software development practices and enterprise technology stacks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in developer advocacy or technical training at a technology company.
• Hands-on work with LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI frameworks, and compliance (CJIS, FedRAMP, SOC 2).
• Experience integrating with enterprise systems like Jira, Slack, Microsoft 365, or Snowflake.
• Public speaking experience and strong content creation skills (writing, video, or visual design).
• Understanding of prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and agentic workflows.
