AIT Operations Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and optimize launch vehicle AIT workflows
• Manage operational interfaces for testing, logistics, and quality assurance teams
• Manage and improve the vehicle integration timeline
• Create efficient tooling to plan, monitor, and optimize integration activities
• Drive engineering change management processes from request to hardware implementation
• Lead the non-conformance process by assessing criticality and defining corrective actions
• Act as AIT representative to Design Engineering, Launch Operations, and Production
• Implement internal process improvements to increase efficiency and data flow
• Ensure safe execution of activities by implementing PPE, ESD, and HSE rules
• Develop and realize concepts for AIT facilities across all sites

Requirements

• BSc/MSc in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering or similar
• Experience in bottleneck analysis, line balancing, and OEE calculation
• Extensive project management experience including KPIs and timeline reporting
• Experience in assembly and testing of complex systems (aerospace, automotive, or medical)
• Basic knowledge in Python, C++, or similar
• Basic knowledge of CAD software
• Fluent in English
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic understanding of aerospace systems (mechanics, avionics, pressurized systems, engines)
