AIT-Mechaniker - Integration Satelliten und Mechanismen

Responsibilities

• Support the integration of mechanical and electrical components and assemblies for instrument and satellite integration
• Assist in the assembly, rework, and functional testing of tools, fixtures, and equipment
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of environmental tests for space instruments and satellites
• Document all performed work steps in coordination with the technical team
• Participate in domestic and international test campaigns, including extended assignments abroad

Requirements

• Completed vocational training in precision mechanics, mechanical engineering, metalworking, or a related technical field
• At least 2 years of professional experience in precision mechanics, industrial mechanics, or measurement technology
• Knowledge of mechanical manufacturing processes, tools, and quality control
• Knowledge of plastics processing and adhesive bonding techniques
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Business fluent German and proficient English skills
• Willingness to travel internationally for test campaigns

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical satellite integration
• Familiarity with aerospace industry standards
