About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise all airside activities to ensure safety and efficient operations following International and National Rules and Regulations
- Perform Follow-Me guidance of aircraft and aircraft removal
- Monitor airside traffic safety and guide unauthorized vehicles
- Monitor airside facilities and construction works for safety deficiencies
- Perform wildlife control management, runway friction measurement, and winter operations
- Inspect facilities to identify Health & Safety hazards
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Vocational Upper Secondary School Diploma
- At least 3 years of airport experience, preferably in airside operations
- Knowledge of the English language
- Valid driving license
- HCAA / ATC Radiotelephony Certificate (RTF) is an asset
- Fulfilled Military Obligations (if appropriate)
