Airport Integration Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all airport integration activities across the project lifecycle, from feasibility and concept design through delivery.
• Define and implement the airport integration strategy to ensure alignment between rail systems, airport operations, and terminal infrastructure.
• Coordinate interfaces between rail stations and airport terminals, including passenger access, circulation, and operational connectivity.
• Ensure seamless integration with airport systems, including passenger processing and Baggage Handling Systems (BHS).
• Develop and manage interface requirements and Interface Control Documents (ICDs) between rail and airport systems.
• Coordinate closely with airport authorities, operators, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with regulatory and security requirements.
• Identify and manage risks related to airport interfaces and system integration, implementing necessary mitigation measures.
• Oversee integration activities during testing and commissioning phases to ensure smooth handover to operations.

Requirements

• Engineering Degree in Civil, Systems, Transportation, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in rail, airport, or integrated transport projects.
• Extensive experience in airport integration and coordinating complex interfaces between rail systems and airport infrastructure.
• Proven experience managing both technical and management scopes of large-scale, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of passenger flow, terminal operations, and multimodal connectivity in high-capacity environments.
• Experience working directly with airport authorities, operators, and diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification or membership in a recognized engineering institute or association.
• Specific expertise in passenger and baggage planning and coordination with Baggage Handling Systems (BHS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities within fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.
