About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a proactive technical advocate and interface between Boeing and airline partners to manage operational and reliability performance.
  • Lead and drive customer issues to closure by coordinating with functional and integration teams within Boeing.
  • Maintain frequent contact and coordination with Boeing Field Service Representatives and customer airlines.
  • Author and review technical documentation, including reliability reports, trip reports, and meeting minutes.
  • Use program management skills to assess priorities, determine resources, and develop action plans for in-service issues.
  • Interact with senior-level executives and mid-level managers at both airlines and Boeing.
  • Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and communicate plans to internal and external organizations.
  • Travel occasionally to airline bases and customer locations to integrate with suppliers and other organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry.
  • 7+ years of experience in an engineering discipline.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and occasional weekends to support 24/7 customer needs.
  • Must be a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 to meet export control requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
  • ABET accreditation for engineering degrees.
  • Experience working with organizational leaders to develop and implement strategic plans and objectives.
  • Experience supporting technical questions for airplane programs or similar aerospace environments.
