About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and repairs on Embraer aircraft, including engines, landing gear, and other systems
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and recommend appropriate repairs
- Perform modifications and upgrades to Embraer aircraft systems
- Complete all required maintenance documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and Embraer procedures
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A&P license required
- 3+ years of experience as an A&P Technician in line or heavy maintenance
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
