Airfield Services Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic policies and operational procedures to ensure compliance with international safety regulatory requirements
• Manage day-to-day airfield operations, including runway, taxiway, and apron inspections
• Oversee airside service providers such as ground handlers, fueling, and catering
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans for hazards like FOD and wildlife
• Support the implementation of Safety Management Systems and Aerodrome Emergency Plans
• Manage Airside Work Permits and coordinate airside activities and change management
• Lead Airfield Services and Sweepers teams during irregular operations and emergency situations
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources for airfield improvement projects
• Analyze operational performance data to identify improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Valid RTF License and AVOP License
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in airport management or aviation operations
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Strong understanding of European aviation regulations and industry best practices
• Proficiency Diploma in English
• Experience with project management tools and leading cross-functional teams
