Aircraft Worker (Phase)

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and inspect aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment
• Remove and install aircraft components under technical direction
• Conduct functional tests of repaired components and systems
• Perform phase and periodic inspections
• Adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems as required
• Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and corrosion identification/repair
• Support work center functions including crash recovery duties when necessary

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance
• Completion of a basic applicable aircraft maintenance course
• Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience (installing, inspecting, repairing, or overhauling)
• Knowledge of Air Force supply and deficiency reporting procedures
• Proficiency with MIS systems such as CAMS or IMDS
• Ability to use technical data and desktop computer operations

Preferred Qualifications

• Documented experience with F-16 aircraft
• Minimum of 4 years of documented experience, preferably within the last 10 years
• High school diploma with completed mathematics coursework
