Aircraft Worker (Fuels)

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, and inspect aircraft fuel systems, structures, components, and related equipment
• Remove and install aircraft components under technical direction
• Conduct functional tests of repaired components and systems
• Adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems as required
• Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, and towing operations
• Inspect and identify aircraft corrosion for prevention and repair
• Manage Air Force supply procedures, including looking up, ordering, and receiving parts
• Handle, use, and dispose of hazardous waste and materials according to regulations

Requirements

• 2A6X4 Air Force Specialty Code (Fuels) or civilian/sister service equivalent
• Minimum of four years of documented experience on F-15 and/or F-16 aircraft
• Active Secret Clearance
• Completion of a basic applicable aircraft maintenance course
• Proficiency with MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations
• Knowledge of Air Force supply and deficiency reporting procedures
