Aircraft Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-flight, recovery, launch, and aircraft directing to support daily flight schedules.
• Conduct pre/post-operational checks, fueling, and operation of support equipment.
• Execute Daily/Turnaround, Conditional, and Special Inspections in accordance with NAVAIR technical manuals and Maintenance Requirement Cards (MRC).
• Perform aircraft repairs including removing, cleaning, and replacing defective parts, accessories, and components using hand tools.
• Service engines and aircraft components at line stations to maintain safe operating conditions.
• Inspect aircraft for tools and foreign objects to mitigate risks to aircrew and equipment.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all safety, quality, and procedural compliance standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Three (3) years of recent and related aircraft experience.
• F/A-18E/F and/or EA-18G qualified Plane Captain experience.
• US Citizenship (required for facility credentials).
• Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance.
• Ability to meet physical requirements and pass medical examinations related to daily tasks.

Preferred Qualifications

• A&P license (considered equivalent to three years of aircraft field experience).
