About the role
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and inspect aircraft structures, systems, components, and related equipment
- Remove and install aircraft components and conduct functional tests of repaired systems
- Adjust, align, and rig aircraft systems as required
- Perform aircraft jacking, lifting, towing, and corrosion identification/repair
- Support necessary work center functions under the direction of senior mechanics or leads
- Manage Air Force supply and deficiency reporting procedures and handle hazardous materials
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of aircraft maintenance experience
- Held an Air Force F-15 Crew Chief AFSC
- Possession of flight controls and canopy rigging qualifications
- Active Secret clearance
- Completion of a basic applicable aircraft maintenance course
- Proficiency with MIS (CAMS/IMDS) and desktop computer operations
- Knowledge of Air Force supply procedures for ordering and maintaining parts
