About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform pre/post-operational checks, fueling, and maintenance for aircraft and support equipment, specifically H-60 rotary aircraft
- Execute aircraft movement, fueling/defueling, and installation of blade restraints
- Provide aircraft direction and fire guard services during ground and flight operations
- Launch and recover aircraft in support of flight schedules, including helicopter landing signal services
- Conduct equipment pre-operational checks and maintain work center support equipment
- Detect corrosion and follow corrosion control manuals
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations
- Maintain shop housekeeping and participate in FOD programs
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of two years of recent aircraft maintenance, modification, or repair experience on H-60 or equivalent rotary aircraft
- US Citizenship (required for facility credentials/authorization)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) with Tier 3 adjudication
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to meet physical demands associated with aircraft maintenance, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)

- Prior experience with U.S. Naval repair and maintenance operations on military aircraft
