Aircraft Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-operational checks, fueling, and maintenance for aircraft and support equipment, specifically H-60 rotary aircraft
• Execute aircraft movement, fueling/defueling, and installation of blade restraints
• Provide aircraft direction and fire guard services during ground and flight operations
• Launch and recover aircraft in support of flight schedules, including helicopter landing signal services
• Conduct equipment pre-operational checks and maintain work center support equipment
• Detect corrosion and follow corrosion control manuals
• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations
• Maintain shop housekeeping and participate in FOD programs

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of two years of recent aircraft maintenance, modification, or repair experience on H-60 or equivalent rotary aircraft
• US Citizenship (required for facility credentials/authorization)
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) with Tier 3 adjudication
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to meet physical demands associated with aircraft maintenance, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions
• Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing, and understanding)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with U.S. Naval repair and maintenance operations on military aircraft
