Aircraft Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post-operational checks, fueling, and operation of support equipment
• Conduct daily, turnaround, conditional, and special inspections in accordance with NAVAIR technical manuals
• Make aircraft repairs including removing, cleaning, and replacing defective parts, accessories, and components
• Service engines and aircraft components at line stations to maintain safe operating conditions
• Support flight schedules by performing pre-flight/recovery, launch, and aircraft directing
• Inspect aircraft for tools and foreign objects to ensure aircrew safety
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety, quality, and procedure compliance protocols

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• 3 years of recent related experience in the field
• A&P license (considered equivalent to 3 years of experience)
• F/A-18E/F or EA-18G Plane Captain experience
• US Citizenship
• Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
