Aircraft Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs, cleaning, and replacement of defective aircraft parts and components using hand tools
• Remove, clean, reinstall, or replace parts such as gaskets, couplings, fittings, actuators, and gauges
• Make mechanical adjustments including cable tension and seat movement settings
• Service engines and aircraft components at line stations to maintain safe operating conditions
• Utilize parts manuals to obtain standard parts and ensure correct component matching
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and procedural compliance standards to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
• Three (3) years of recent related experience in the aircraft field
• An A&P license (considered equivalent to three years of experience)
• US Citizenship (required for facility credentials/authorization)
• Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
