About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs, cleaning, and replacement of defective aircraft parts and components using hand tools
- Remove, clean, reinstall, or replace parts such as gaskets, couplings, fittings, actuators, and gauges
- Make mechanical adjustments including cable tension and seat movement settings
- Service engines and aircraft components at line stations to maintain safe operating conditions
- Utilize parts manuals to obtain standard parts and ensure correct component matching
- Adhere to all safety, quality, and procedural compliance standards to maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Three (3) years of recent related experience in the aircraft field
- An A&P license (considered equivalent to three years of experience)
- US Citizenship (required for facility credentials/authorization)
- Ability to pass and maintain a Security Clearance
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
